My big kids

So this week we made a big change in our house. Luke and Rayna moved into the same room and Rayna simultaneously moved into a "big girl bed"! They were so excited about this, and the first night they were to sleep in their new room, Luke kept asking if it was bedtime and if he could go to bed yet. Umm... of course!! It's fun to see them love being together like that. However, after they went to bed, Rayna talked and talked for about an hour. At first we heard both of them talking to each other, then it was just Rayna. Chatting away. We went up a couple times to tell her to stop talking and go to sleep, and eventually she did. Then next day Luke wanted to make sure I was going to tell Rayna that we don't talk when we go to bed, we just go to sleep. And I'm pretty sure she's also waking him up every morning. So hopefully Luke continues to like the arrangement!! Here they are getting ready for bed.
First night in the big girl bed!! Since she wants to do everything just like her brother, she didn't have a problem staying in bed or sleeping in her new bed. It's just a bummer she can get out of bed in the morning and wake Luke up, then wake me up. :)
