Tessa is 7 months old!

My sweet Tessa is growing up... today, cutting her first teeth. Tomorrow, driving and off to college.

Just look at how big she's getting!!Tessa7months

Lots of rolls, chins, chub and baby goodness! Sorry, girl, you've got your mama's hands - no long dainty piano fingers for you! I just love those chubby fingers and toes. :)

Tessa 7 months 2

Tessa is rolling all over this month, and starting to sit without just falling right over. She can sit surrounded by the boppy pillow and play with some toys for quite a while. She thinks her exersaucer is a jumperoo - she likes to jump and bounce in it. She gets really happy when we put her in the doorway jumper thing - it is her new favorite!!

She has started eating solid foods. Her favorites are bananas and sweet potatoes. She LOVES to blow raspberries as soon as I stick a spoonful of food in her mouth, and also gets really talkative when we're feeding her. All of a sudden she wants to say, "babababa" with food in her mouth and spray it all over.

This month she has aquired a new roomie - once we got our stuff Tessa and Rayna moved in together so that Luke's room could be his room plus the playroom. Rayna loves getting to sleep in "Tessa's room", and Luke is adjusting to being by himself (he doesn't love it). It's been good for everyone, though... Rayna doesn't wake Luke up at the crack of dawn, and Rayna is not allowed to get up or move a muscle before Tessa starts fussing and I come to get her, which often means that Rayna goes back to sleep and has also been getting more sleep!

Just this week Tessa has sprouted 2 teeth!! You can't really see them yet, since she will hardly move her tongue out of the way for a split second, but you can definitely feel them. I can't really say she's been fussy while teething... she's just been smiling less, and a little less happy happy. Her version of fussy. I'll take it! Luke has been very concerned about her though, and as he kisses and hugs her goodnight for each nap and bedtime (he's so sweet with her), he says, "Have a good nap for your teeth!" (Alrighty then). And then asks, "Mommy, can you give her some medicine for her teeth?"

Tessa, we all love you so much! Happy 7 months!

It makes me so sad to miss seeing her in person! Why couldn't the AF send us to Korea, too?!

She is getting so big and chunk-a-licious!
I loved hearing about her roomie and it sounds like a great sleeping situation!

For the record, stubby fingers can play piano, too. ;)
