We went down to the creek to throw rocks in the water, an activity that I think could have entertained my children for hours. Earlier in the day Luke had been down at the creek shooting BB guns! We weren't with him - there are scheduled kids activities everyday where you can leave your kids for a little while - but we heard he was a good shot! Maybe now he'll understand how guns operate from far away... last week he kept getting in trouble at his best buddy's house for running around and hitting or touching people with a toy gun. It was hard to explain to him that he didn't need to get so close (oh yeah, and that he shouldn't shoot at people anyway!).
